From Architect to Infotect: A New Profession!

The creation of Thinknology, in August 1993, immediately gave birth to a new profession: the infotect, an architect for IT projects.

Etymologically, one understands by architect, in the broad meaning of the word, the person that exerts the art and the science of construction. In ancient Greek, the term "architecton" indicated a function closely related on the capacities and the personality of the individual. The term also indicated collaboration with others, which in any case supposes more of capabilities that one finds usually in one person.

The function of the architect consists not only in creation, the forecast and management but also in the execution or the order of execution of a whole series of specialized actions.
